Canine Sports is a positive reinforcement based training company. We work with you and your dog to channel your dog's natural drives to help shape a happy, reliable, and obedient dog. Using games and dog friendly techniques we have put the fun back into training the family dog! Whether you are interested in competition level performance or just a great family pet, we cover it all!

Meet the Trainer

Emily has been training Chicago's dog for the last ten years. She has worked with Chicago's largest shelters and rescues helping to keep homeless dogs in their foster and adoptive homes. She is very active in the performance dog world competing in Agility, Obedience, and Rally-O and even holds national rankings with multiple dogs. Emily is proud to be one of only five Community Training Partners here in Illinois working through Best Friends Animal Society to offer free training services to foster parents and adopters.

Emily is an active handler and volunteer with Safe Humane Chicago and Canine Therapy Corps. She shares her home with her very understanding husband and four dogs.
